We hope you’re enjoying a bright and sunny Spring so far. What glorious weather we’ve been blessed with this year and what better way to enjoy it than spend the day at some of Yorkshire’s finest events, fayres and various local attractions.
We’ve compiled a list of some upcoming events and activities we think you may enjoy.
This Saturday 18th April sees Yorkshire Warrior come to Harrogate. Commencing at the Great Yorkshire Show ground this year, this is a huge event including live music and entertainment.
There’s bigger walls, bigger crawls, water slides, half a mile underground, more mud, more ice and more FUN!
They’ve also got a new event – The Yorkshire Warrior half, a jam packed 5 mile course, which is supposed to be a bit kinder and not as tough. We’re not so sure!
We’ve a couple of friends competing, so wish all of them the best of luck along with anyone else taking part!
Also on this weekend;
Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair
Scarborough Food Fair
Garden lovers, your time is coming! Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington, York are holding their annual Tulip Festival from Saturday 25th April through to Saturday 9th May;
The main attraction of course is the Spring Flower Show in Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Show ground from 23rd-26th April.
As you may or may not know we attended the Autumn flower show here last year and it was a wonderful event. We saw so many beautiful flowers on display along with the infamous giant vegetables!
There was music and food and some lovely craft stalls where we purchased many a Christmas present. Really looking forward to this year’s.

Then into May we have;

The Yorkshire Game Fair
Bowman Antiques Fairs

Last, but by no means least, as if it needed any introduction, The Great Yorkshire Show on the Yorkshire Show ground from 14th-16th July.
This is always a fantastic celebration of all things agricultural and a great day out for all the family!
