Autumn is here and what better way to enjoy the season, than getting out and about in our area and visiting some of these wonderful attractions!

With Halloween just around the corner, why not visit these pumpkin themed attractions and enjoy a spooktacular day out! 🎃👻

Pick your own pumpkin at Yorkshire Pumpkins!

Yorkshire Pumpkins are open from 10am-4pm every day from 20th October until 31st October.
Entry is free for all the family and pumpkin prices depend on size, starting from £1!
They are situated in Cundall, York, just 7 minutes from J49 of the A1(M)
They also have a children’s pumpkin play area!

Visit the annual Pumpkin Trail at Bolton Abbey!

Join in two spooktacular weeks of fun at Bolton Abbey! 🎃👻

Follow the trail of over-sized pumpkins through Strid Wood and discover the mystery doors hidden among the trees…
Behind each door is a clue to help unravel the witch’s magical spell.
With a fun new surprise awaiting you at The Strid, it will be worth the journey to get there!

The route follows the Green trail from the Cavendish shop to the Strid and returns on the same path.
Collect your trail activity form on arrival at the Riverside kiosk.
Call in at the Cavendish Shop and hand in your trail form to enter the free prize draw.

This fun-filled event is a free activity, the usual Estate Admission applies.

Park in Riverside car park near the Cavendish Pavilion.
The Pumpkin Trail is open from 10am to 4pm.
The trail is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Take a trip to one of two of York’s corn maize mazes this Halloween/Half-Term! 🌽

There is York Maze, situated in Elvington, York, which reopens for Halloween on 27th October – 4th November.
